The shape of the lunate bone is special, wide on the palmar side and narrow on the dorsal side. The proximal end forms a joint with the radius, the distal end forms a joint with the capitate bone and a small part of the hamate bone, and the radial side forms a joint with the navicular bone, and the ulnar side forms a joint with the triquetrum bone. After dislocation, it moves completely to the palmar side, and the blood supply of the lunate bone comes from the anterior ligament and the posterior ligament.
