What are the symptoms of HPV infection?
In the early stage of HPV virus infection, the virus presents as slender and tiny pale red papules. Over time, they gradually enlarge, with an elevated surface and rough texture, showing irregular warty hyperplasia.
In clinical practice, warts are mainly manifested as cockscomb, cauliflower, papillary, and other shapes, showing various morphologies after infection. HPV infection can cause the surface color of condyloma acuminatum to be diverse, with some appearing red, some grayish white, or normal skin color. The local area is moist, and a few patients may experience pruritus in the genital area, pain during sexual intercourse, and even bleeding. It is not just itching, so patients often scratch the affected area, which may lead to erosion and even bleeding, ultimately leading to secondary infection.
