Cake can be said to be a kind of national cake, whether it’s the elderly or the young, everyone likes to eat it. But when it comes to making a cake, everyone will definitely think of a big oven. In fact, for a cake, you can still make a cake without an oven. This requires us to use our electric rice pot for steaming. This way, the cake made is not only soft and delicious but also very nutritious and healthy.

Ingredients

Flour 4 tablespoons, eggs 3, milk 4 tablespoons, white sugar 5 teaspoons

Step 1

Prepare the materials ~ Milk can be any pure milk~

Step 2

Separate the egg whites from the yolks, note that there must not be any yolks in the egg whites, otherwise the egg whites will not whip well

Step 3

Whip the egg whites, add a spoonful of sugar when the bubbles start to form, then keep whipping until it becomes fine foam, add the second spoon of sugar, and keep whipping, adding sugar according to your taste

The egg whites are ready ~ When the egg whites are whipped into cream, it’s done ~ This is not cream, it’s not edible~

Step 5

Add 4 tablespoons of flour and 4 tablespoons of milk to the yolks~

Keep stirring, until smooth and free of lumps~

Step 7

Add the whipped egg whites to the yolks, do not stir in circles, it’s best to stir up and down, mix well~

Step 8

Put water and a steaming rack in the pot, place the bowl on it, and it’s best not to be ceramic ~ Brush a little oil on the inside wall of the bowl, corn oil or olive oil will do ~ I use olive oil~

Step 9

Pour the mixed egg batter into the bowl~

Step 10

Cover with a piece of plastic wrap (when I ran out of plastic wrap at home, I just used a plastic bag… ) and poke some holes in it~

Step 11

Cover the lid of the pot and start steaming ~ Steam for 20-30 minutes~

Step 12

Pour from the bowl to the plate ~ The delicious steamed cake is ready~

Precautions:

1. The two bowls used to separate the egg whites and yolks should not have any water or oil, and they must be clean.

2. When steaming, be sure not to be scalded by the steam~
