Malignant lymph node color Doppler ultrasound report
The B-ultrasound of malignant lymph nodes can be seen to be benign or malignant. If it is benign, immediate surgery should be performed, and it is best to choose a reliable hospital for surgery to reduce the risk of surgery. Lymph nodes can cause body nutrient loss, and some people may also appear hypoproteinemia. Additionally, it is appropriate to increase nutrition, pay more attention to rest, and avoid overexertion.
The ultrasound of lymphoma is atypical:
Looking at the size, normal lymph nodes have a diameter of 2-5mm (here referring to the short diameter), so if the short diameter of the lymph node is less than 10mm, there is usually no big problem.
Looking at the structure, the structure of the lymph nodes caused by inflammation and other diseases is generally normal, with clear medulla, cortex, and junction of the lymph node hilum. However, the structure of tumor mass lesions is usually destroyed, and the junction is unclear.
Looking at the blood, the lymph nodes caused by inflammation tend to be central blood; while tumor mass lesions are usually mixed blood or peripheral blood.
If the ultrasound results of the lymph node show:
1. The lymph node is relatively large, and the aspect ratio is close to 1 (nearly annular)
2. The echo is low, close to no echo
3. No lymph node hilum structure is displayed, and the blood is abundant.
Then it is best to perform a needle biopsy to rule out malignant changes. There are many causes of lymphadenopathy, including inflammation, reactive hyperplasia, tumors, etc., which can cause it. Your ultrasound results cannot determine benign or malignant changes, and a needle biopsy is necessary. The pathological diagnosis of lymph nodes is also relatively inconvenient, and in many cases, cytology cannot make a diagnosis. It is recommended to undergo surgery for needle biopsy as soon as possible.
If the characteristics of the ultrasonic structure do not match the description, everyone should adjust their mindset well, lymphoma is still very accidental, and one should not be too anxious!
