Differences between fresh milk and pure milk
Milk is a common food on everyone’s dining table, and the quality of milk directly affects everyone’s health.
I am the only child in my family, and I rarely do housework. Housework is usually done by my parents. On Sundays, I go to the supermarket to buy snacks. My mother said, ‘while you’re at it, buy some milk for me. We often drink milk. When I went to the supermarket, I saw so many different brands of milk, and they were all labeled as fresh milk and pure milk. Which one should I buy?
I often drink milk, but I don’t know which kind of milk I drink. Are fresh milk and pure milk not the same? They are all made from milk. Where is the difference in this one character? Back home, I searched for a lot of information on the computer and found the answer. These two kinds of milk indeed have differences.
Although there is only one character difference between fresh milk and pure milk, the nutrition of the milk is still different. The raw materials for processing both kinds of milk are the same, both are made from fresh milk. The most fundamental difference between the two is the different sterilization methods. Fresh milk is also known as pasteurized milk, which is made from fresh milk. Pasteurized fresh milk is raw milk processed by low-temperature heating at 85℃. Due to the low temperature of the sterilization method, it can kill harmful bacteria while preserving the active substances in milk to the maximum extent.
Pure milk belongs to room temperature milk, which is ultra-high temperature sterilized milk processed by flash sterilization. This kind of milk can be stored at room temperature. "The flash sterilization temperature of ultra-high temperature sterilized pure milk is at least 132℃, and this sterilization method can kill all microorganisms in milk, but the nutrient loss of milk after sterilization is relatively large, especially calcium and vitamins. To put it in a vivid way, pasteurized milk is like fresh fruit, while ultra-high temperature sterilized milk is like canned fruit. From the perspective of freshness and nutrition, fresh milk is superior to pure milk.
People usually buy milk with a longer shelf life when they buy milk in their daily life, which is convenient, buy more at a time, so as not to expire. Milk with a long shelf life is generally pure milk. As introduced above, it is best to drink fresh milk when drinking milk in daily life, as the shelf life of fresh milk is usually short, so buy less at a time to avoid expiration.
