The eight ‘fatal’ dangers of washing machines
1. Wash all in one pot
Some people, in order to save water, usually wash underwear first, then wash outer clothes, and then wash socks and other杂物, all the way to the end with one pot of water. Although this ensures the cleanliness of some clothes, the clothes washed at the end are heavily polluted. Especially the harm of washing socks and women’s underwear together is greater, which can cause women’s vaginal diseases.
2. Long-term failure to clean the washing machine
Some people never clean their washing machines, just keep washing as long as they can turn, and the inner wall of the drainage outlet is filled with lint and dirt, breeding many viruses and bacteria. During the washing process, these dirt and bacteria will contaminate the clothes.
3. Overuse of Detergent
Many people think that clothes are too dirty or think that detergents are cheap, so they often use too much detergent. However, due to insufficient rinsing time, detergents often remain on the clothes. Most detergents are alkylbenzene compounds, which have a certain irritant effect on the skin and can also affect liver function.
4. Washing all clothes together
Some people, for the sake of convenience, put all the clothes they have changed into the washing machine to wash them together. During the process of the washing machine’s mixing and friction, bacteria, colors, and shed fibers on the clothes inevitably contaminate each other. The clothes washed at dry cleaning shops are even more complex, including those of healthy people, patients, and possibly infectious disease patients.
5. Risk of Electric Shock
Do not pull the power plug out with force; do not insert or remove the plug with wet hands
6. Risk of Explosion
Washing clothes containing solvents is prone to explosion hazards; if there is no special down jacket washing program, washing down jackets in the washing machine is likely to cause an explosion.
7. Risk of Burns
When washing at high temperatures, the glass of the washing and drying machine door will be very hot, which is easy to cause burn hazards; when the machine is discharging hot water, be careful of burns.
8. Risk of Injury
If the machine is still running, do not touch the inner drum, as the high-speed rotating inner drum is extremely easy to injure your hands.
