Penile Lengthening

  So-called penile lengthening refers to cutting the superficial and deep suspensory ligaments at an appropriate position on the penis according to the physiological characteristics and/or extension needs of different men, separating the penile corpus cavernosum buried in the body, and using internal filling and external pulling suture techniques to extend the penile extracorporeal part by 3-5 centimeters.

1. What are the causes of penile lengthening

  (1) The influence of genetic genes is the most fundamental; due to improper medication during pregnancy, the secretion of androgens is affected, resulting in congenital insufficiency; lack of nutrition and elements for healthy sexual function, leading to congenital maldevelopment;

  (2) During the period of adolescent development, insufficient intake of zinc, androgens, vitamin E, and related protein nutrition, lack of postnatal energy supplement, and unable to strengthen the sexual organs;

  (3) Body coldness, aversion to cold, insufficient body Yang, causing the penis to not fully protrude, with part of it retracting into the abdomen; excessive sexual activity, physical weakness, or frequent masturbation during the period of adolescent development, causing the kidneys to have no energy to strengthen the development of the sexual organs during development, resulting in a small penis;

  (4) Suffering from orchitis, cryptorchidism, incomplete testicular development, and endocrine imbalance, with a lack of androgen.

2. What complications can penile lengthening easily lead to

  Common complications include: edema, bacterial infection, impotence

  1. Postoperative edema is the most common complication of penile lengthening surgery. Generally, the reflux of the foreskin edema is mainly through the superficial lymphatic vessels on the dorsal and lateral sides of the penis and the penile veins, especially the superficial dorsal veins. Therefore, a reasonable choice of surgical incision is crucial for preventing postoperative edema. If this condition occurs, it is necessary to go to the hospital for a review in a timely manner.

  2. The stability of the penis after surgery is weakened. Sometimes the penis cannot reach the angle of less than or equal to 90 degrees with the abdominal wall as naturally as before the operation.

  3、This surgery may damage the sensory nerves of the penis and the blood vessels that control penile erection, leading to impotence, lack of sensation in the glans, and inability to ejaculate. In addition, the scar left at the root of the penis should be as small and concealed as possible. Postoperative infection is also one of the common complications.

3. What are the typical symptoms of penile elongation

  Common symptoms of penile elongation are as follows:

  1、The length from the pubic bone to the tip of the penis when flaccid is less than 6.5cm. Some small penises are less than 3cm in length.

  2、The testicles are very small, some are only the size of a peanut or thumb, and are soft in texture. Some scrotums have no testicles, known as cryptorchidism.

  3、Poor development of secondary sexual characteristics, without mustache, axillary hair, and pubic hair, and showing various degrees of female characteristics such as delicate skin, high-pitched voice, and no Adam's apple.

  4、Changes in body shape: obesity, breast development, increased buttocks, short stature, etc.

  5、Reduced or absent sexual function, if married, it is often unable to complete sexual life.

  6、Sperm is often absent in seminal fluid, but sometimes spermatogenic cells can be seen.

4. How to prevent penile elongation

  The prevention of this disease mainly focuses on the following two aspects:

  ⒈Exercise for the penile corpus cavernosum. By exercising the penile corpus cavernosum, the blood capacity of the vascular sinus of the corpus cavernosum increases, thus allowing the short penis to obtain an increase during erection.

  ⒉Exercise for the penile blood vessels. Through exercise, the blood supply ability of the penile blood vessels can be strengthened, and more blood can be delivered to the originally short penis.

5. What kind of tests need to be done before penile elongation

  Indications for penile elongation and augmentation surgery

  1、The patient should be an adult male, and most hospitals also require that the patient be married.

  2、According to the vaginal anatomy and the physiological characteristics of women, as well as the normal length measurement of the Chinese adult male penis, it is 7.1±1.5 centimeters in the normal state, and 13.0±1.3 centimeters when erect. If the penis develops poorly, the length when erect is less than 10 centimeters, and it cannot meet the sexual requirements of the female, the penile elongation surgery can be performed.

  3、For most of the penis defect, when erect, the length is generally only 3 to 5 centimeters. According to routine, the penile reconstruction surgery is performed, but the reconstructed penis currently has no normal erection and sensory function. If the penile corpus cavernosum extension surgery is adopted, the superficial and deep tendons of the penis are cut to the pubic arch, making the cavernous body buried in front of the pubic symphysis become a free part, thereby increasing the effective length of the penis. Then, the inguinal island flap is used to repair the wound after the cavernous body is elongated. This surgical method not only makes the penis elongate to an almost normal length but also has normal erection and sensory function.

  4、For small penis, when erect, the length and circumference are between 5 to 8 centimeters, and when the testicular volume is greater than 6 milliliters, performing the penile thickening surgery at the same time as the penile elongation surgery is beneficial for the penis to approach normal shape.

  5、For congenital penile ectopic deformity, the penile elongation surgery is adopted according to the condition to elongate and reset the penis.

  6、For patients with penile venous fistula impotence, while performing the penile elongation surgery, the superficial penile vein ligation can often achieve better therapeutic effects.

6. Dietary taboos for patients with penile elongation

  Common nursing measures after surgery include:

  1. Pay attention to the blood supply of the penis within 24 hours after the operation, and take appropriate measures in time if any blood supply obstruction is found.

  2. Change the dressing 2~3 days after the operation, remove the drainage tube, and remove the sutures 7 days after the operation.

  3. Administer conventional intravenous infusion of antibiotics for 3~5 days to prevent infection.

  4. Take diethylstilbestrol 10mg orally daily to prevent penile erection

7. Conventional Western medical treatment methods for penile elongation

  Tongue-shaped flap penile elongation surgery

  The penis is mainly composed of two corpora cavernosa and one corpus spongiosum, covered by fascia and skin. It can be divided into three parts: the head, body, and root. The posterior part is the penis root, fixed to the lower branch of the pubic bone and the ischial branch, which is the fixed part. The middle part is the penis body, which is cylindrical and suspended from the front below the pubic symphysis by a ligament, which is the movable part. The distended part in front of the penis is the penis head. In addition to being fixed to the lower branch of the pubic bone and the ischial branch, the penis is also fixed to the pubic symphysis and the lower part of the epigastric line by means of the penile suspensory ligament. The penile suspensory ligament includes the superficial penile suspensory ligament and the deep penile suspensory ligament, and the deep penile suspensory ligament is located below the superficial penile suspensory ligament.

  Tongue-shaped flap penile elongation surgery, that is, by relaxing part of the superficial and deep suspensory ligaments that restrict the penis, a hidden part of the penis inside the body is released to achieve elongation, allowing the original penis segment fixed in front of the pubic symphysis and the lower branch of the pubic bone to be freed, thereby increasing the length of the penis by 3~7cm. Since part of the deep suspensory ligament and the integrity of the corpora cavernosa are retained, the penis can still maintain its strength and stability when it becomes erect. This method is leading in China and is currently the best method for penile elongation, making you show your true masculinity again. It has successfully relieved the difficult disease for many patients with small penises.

  Penile Suspensory Ligamentectomy

  The principle of penile elongation surgery is that what we see on the surface of the human body is only part of the penis. The other part of the penis is hidden in the tissue under the pubic bone and is fixed by the penile suspensory ligament. After the penile suspensory ligament is removed, this part of the penis is also exposed to extend the penis. The medical community abroad generally believes that this operation is safe, the patient's pain is less, the cost is not high, and it is convenient for promotion and application. It is currently the best method in the technical field of reconstructing the penis.
