How to make delicious crab roe buns?
Today, I will introduce a type of bun. We often eat buns in our meals, but the bun we are talking about today is not the ordinary bun we eat for breakfast. It is one of the five famous buns in China, known for its exquisite shape, exquisite craftsmanship, and unique eating method. This is the method of making crab roe buns.
1. Method one:
Main materials: flour
Supplementary materials: eggs, pork belly, crab meat stick, crab roe, scallions and ginger, black fungus

Method:

2. Method two:
Main materials: wheat flour, pork
Supplementary materials: chicken powder, skin jelly, crab powder
Seasonings: sesame oil, granulated sugar, salt, scallions, ginger
Method:
1. Slowly pour cold water into the flour dish.
2. Knead the dough to a smooth surface, wrap it with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 20 minutes.
3. Mince the pork belly.
4. Add 1/3 spoon of sesame oil, salt, and chicken powder to the minced meat, mix well, then add the chopped scallion and ginger water and mix well.
5. Add crab roe and stir well.
6. Add an appropriate amount of jelly and stir in the same direction to thicken.

11. Place the raw buns in the steamer over cold water.
12. Steam for 10 minutes with high heat.
3. Tips:
1. Do not wash pork with hot water before cooking, as pork contains a substance called myoglobin, which is easily dissolved in water above 15 degrees Celsius. If soaked in hot water, it will lose a lot of nutrients, and the taste will also be poor.
2. Pork should be well-cooked because it may contain parasites. If eaten raw or not fully cooked, tapeworms may寄生 in the liver or brain.
3. Normal wheat flour has a color of white with a slight yellow tinge, while abnormal wheat flour is grayish-white or bluish-gray. When selecting unpackaged wheat flour, it should be held in your hand to form a ball, and if it does not disperse over time, it contains a high amount of moisture and is not easy to store. Normal wheat flour should not have any sour or moldy odors. A small amount should taste smooth without any gritty sensation.[1]
